Our Program
Schedule
Monday–Thursday, 9:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m.
Families may choose Monday/Wednesday, Tuesday/Thursday, or all four days.
Learning Groups
Our students learn in groups rather than strictly by grade level. We place each student in the group that best supports their academic needs and social development.
Kindergarten–7th Grade
Math: Moving Beyond the Page
Writing: IEW
Reading: Lightning Literature
Science: unit studies
Social studies: unit studies with a focus on American history in 2026–2027.
8th–12th Grade
Our 8th–12th grade program meets Monday–Thursday, 9:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m. Students may attend Monday/Wednesday, Tuesday/Thursday, or all four days.
Math: CTC
History and English: BookShark
Biology: Elemental Science
Interested students can also take college classes through Fresno City College. Multiple Dragonfly students have earned their associate’s degrees by the time they graduate from high school.
Homesteading
We incorporate homesteading into our program.
Frontier Club
Payment & Community
Dragonfly Homeschool is cash-pay only and does not accept charter-school funds. This approach supports our goal of building a committed community where families are invested in the program and stay connected for the long term.
